Who this covers
This policy is for pokemonbattlegrounds.org, an independent guide. Contact [email protected]. It is not the privacy policy of PB Ranked. Theirs is on their site, updated 1 November 2026.
What loads on a page, and when
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising are requested on the first page view, together with the rest of the page. Nothing waits for an Accept click. The cookie banner says so and lets you withdraw: pressing Reject stores the refusal for 180 days and reloads the page, and later visits do not request them while that record is valid. Global Privacy Control is treated as a rejection. The footer button Cookie settings reopens the banner at any time, and Accept loads the three again.
Clarity and Adsterra are added by this site’s own loader from URL strings. The first HTML response contains no script tag pointing at clarity.ms or at the ad network; the loader creates those tags on the first view. Google Analytics 4 is created the same way from its measurement ID.
A request already sent before you press Reject cannot be recalled from the network. Reject stops this site from starting further requests and denies the analytics and advertising consent signals in the page.

Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-PBX9E74FHC, to count page views and see which guides are read. It loads on the first view by default. Consent Mode v2 starts with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied, analytics_storage granted, and advertising data redaction on, before the GA4 config call. Accept grants the advertising signals; Reject denies all four and reloads the page without the Google tag.
Google may set the _ga and _ga_PBX9E74FHC cookies (about 2 years each) and processes the page URL, referrer, IP address, and device and browser information under its policies. We do not send names, email addresses or account IDs to Analytics. The opt-out add-on is at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity, project z7vdd0wtwe, for heatmaps and session replays. It loads on the first view by default. Clarity may set the _clck cookie (about 1 year) and the _clsk cookie (about 1 day), and processes the pages you visit, clicks, scrolls and session activity. The loader sends ConsentV2 with analytics storage granted and ad storage denied before any explicit Accept; Reject reloads the page without the Clarity loader.
Clarity masks sensitive content such as form input by default. The Microsoft privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Adsterra advertising
We show advertising through Adsterra (publisher ID 3403020, website 6172205). Two units are active: Native Banner NativeBanner_1 (unit 32071660) inside the page column, and Social Bar SocialBar_1 (unit 32071661), the fixed strip at the bottom of the viewport. They load on the first view by default. Adult ads are switched off for this site.
Adsterra and its partners may set cookies and read your IP address, user agent and the page URL to choose and measure ads. Those cookies are set by Adsterra’s own domains, including bicea.org, not by this site; we do not control their lifetime. Reject stops this site’s Adsterra loaders on the reloaded page; closing the Social Bar with its close button stores pbg_ad_closed so it does not return. Adsterra’s policy is at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.
YouTube and other links
Some pages carry a video card. No YouTube player is created until you press play; that click asks YouTube (Google) for the embed and may let it set cookies. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy, and the YouTube terms are at youtube.com/t/terms. Fonts and images other than the three vendors named above are files served from this site.
Outbound links to the official animation site, PB Ranked, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Discord are ordinary links: they send nothing until you click one, and the destination’s own policy then applies.
Choices, legal basis and rights
The consent record is stored on your device so we can honour the choice you clicked. Analytics, session replay and advertising load by default under the notice and opt-out behavior described above. Reject or Cookie settings lets you stop future loading; the default record represents the site setting, not an affirmative consent click. Mail you send is processed to answer you, which is the request you made. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy, and you can object, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the supervisory authority where you live. We do not name a data-protection officer because we do not have one.
You can turn off personalised advertising with the industry exits: Google Ads Settings, the DAA opt-out, and Your Online Choices. Because the tags load by default, the banner is a notice and an opt-out, not a gate.
Retention and changes
The consent record lasts 180 days and the Social Bar dismissal lasts until you clear site data or press Accept again. Google, Microsoft and Adsterra retain data according to their service settings and policies; this page does not claim a verified retention period for those accounts. Email you send to [email protected] is kept long enough to answer and to finish a correction, then deleted from the mailbox we control. The static host may keep ordinary request logs; we do not operate a separate database of visitors.
Changes to this policy show up as a new date on this page. The current text was written on 3 November 2026. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a script is added later, this page and the banner change in the same edit. Alias addresses /privacy-policy/, /cookie-policy/ and /cookies/ send you here.
