Two things share this name

The animation site at pokemonbattlegrounds.com posts hand-drawn pixel battles. The game at ranked.pokemonbattlegrounds.com is PB Ranked: real-time fights in the browser, with Discord or Google sign-in. I link both because the public pages use one name for both.

The official line on the animation site is “Real-time Pokémon battles, hand-animated in pixel art.” PB Ranked’s own terms, updated 1 November 2026, say the game is free, with no ads, purchases, or donations, and name Sondre Norheim. On 3 November 2026 the YouTube channel showed 28.8K subscribers and 44 videos. Discord’s public invite count was 4,532 members. Instagram’s public description showed 32K followers. Facebook showed 13,809 followers. Each of those counts is one reading of a moving number.

This guide is independent. It does not host the game, issue accounts, or speak for the animation creator or the PB Ranked team. Use the official animation site for episodes, votes, and community links. Use the ranked subdomain for the playable browser service and its own terms and privacy policy. A page here may explain a public screen or organize a list, but it cannot grant access when the official service is unavailable.

The site is organized around two search intents that are easy to confuse: watching pixel battles and finding the browser game. Episodes keeps channel videos in publication order. When a number comes from one official host, the table says one source even if that host exposes several files. Several endpoints on the same service are not independent confirmation.
